Cadwell Park BARC meeting 14/15 May

Cadwell Park hosted BARC at the weekend (14th & 15th May) and the meeting included racing from the 2CV Championship, DDMC Northern Saloon & Sports Car Championship, Mini Miglias, Mini Se7en’s, Pre ’66 Touring Cars, Thunder Saloons, Hyundai Coupe Cup, Mighty Minis, Super Mighty Minis & Classic VW Championship.

The 2CV’s produced some fine battles as always, car number 89, Nick Crispin, started from third in the first race, but gearbox issues meant he ended up last before getting it sorted and then fighting his way to the middle of the pack in race 1.Pete Sparrow secured the overall win always the man to beat at a 2CV meeting. In race 2 however Nick Crispin got it off the line well going on to take his first win as the rest of the pack battled hard around the popular Lincolnshire circuit.

In the Mini Miglia’s, both races won by Shayne Deegan, the two time 750mc Stock Hatch Champion…
