Classic Heuer Chronographs

Paddock42 managed to catch up with our old friends Jasper & Iris Bitter from Classic Heuer at Essen whilst on our visit to the show a few weeks ago.

Classic Heuer specialise in high quality Heuer Chronos from the 1960’s and 1970’s offering a range of ‘new old stock’ and first class pre-owned watches. Jasper & Iris manage to find rare collectables such as Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen and Heuer Autavia Jo Siffert pieces along with sourcing for clients. Today Japser & Iris are world renowned, dealing with clients on a global basis including the recent sale of an original ‘blue face’ Monaco being dispatched to a client in Australia.

Along with wristwatches Classic Heuer also offer an extensive collection of vintage dashboard timepieces and stopwatches, and have a master watchmaker who carries out repairs and restorations. These original Heuers (when still owned by the legendary Jack Heuer before the sale of the business to TAG) have been creeping up in value especially with the whole revival of interest in all things historic and with the strong connections to racing and have definitely been under valued for years.
