Dragstalgia…Old Skool ‘Rods At Santa Pod

Dragstalgia is an event being held at Santa Pod on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, a weekend dedicated to ‘old skool’ drag racing, hot rods and bikes from yesteryear with classic dragsters and funny cars, altereds, hot rods, proper american muscle and more.

The weekend will host Championship Drag Racing and Run What Ya Brung sessions (don’t just rock up and expect to put yours down the strip..pre entry only) on the track along with the Fireforce Jet Car and 2 seater Dragster Rides. Off track there will be Show & Shine, Live Music, Traders, Cacklefest, Historic Car Display and generally a real party.

Dragstalgia will feature, Drag Racing with National classes racing including:

Nitro and methanol altereds.
Nostalgia Funny Cars
Nitro and methanol nostalgia funny cars.
Wild Bunch
Predominantly slingshots and altereds.
Outlaw Anglia
Ford Pops and Anglias.
Gasser Circus
High riding gassers.
Supercharged Outlaws
Supercharged dragsters, altereds and door slammers.
Outlaw Street
Street legal muscle cars
Superstock
Heads up shootout for pre 72 american bodied cars stock rear suspension, carbs only, no power adders, slicks are allowed.
NSA Bike Shootout (some of the most historic drag bikes around will be taking part in a shootout).
