Rallycross – Charlie Bean is head down for Knockhill

Team P42’s Charlie Bean heads to Knockhill this weekend for round 2 of the Junior Swift Rallycross Championship. Its a busy weekend at the famous Scottish circuit as it is also the 3rd round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship.

Knockhill, the picturesque circuit outside Dunfermline, is an undulating, challenging track and along with the famous Scottish mist that can embrace the circuit at any time, it remains a firm favourite with the teams every season and for Charlie Bean this is a circuit that he knows well and enjoys.

Charlie commented: ” I am feeling positive coming to Knockhill, it is a circuit that suits my driving style and I always tend go well there. The weather could be a challenge as it is a track with a long loose section”

Currently leading the championship standings, Charlie is looking for a strong finish this weekend and says he is prepared and ready for the challenge: ” Plan is to get out front, get my head down and push. But I have some tough competition with Drew Bellerby and I also think Jake Taylor will be on the pace as well. We have changed nothing on the car, its had a good once over and it and I are ready to go!”
