Carrera Cup GB Rockingham – Carrera Cup GT arrived at Rockingham last weekend in front of the usual large BTCC crowd. The title looks like it is going down to the wire as Championship leader Josh Webster took second in both races and contenders Michael Meadows and Paul Rees battled it for a win each at the fast Corby track.

In the Pro Am1, Team Parker Racing’s Justin Sherwood produced a fine double win as he sits top of the table with a solid 28 point lead. Pro-Am2 racers Peter Kyle-Henney (Parr Motorsport) and Will Goff (In2Racing) also took a win each, real door handle to door handle stuff with Kyle-Henney taking home the driver of the weekend award. The Pro-Am2 championship table only has 1 point separating the first two drivers – Steven Liquorish (Team Parker Racing) hangs on by a thread.
