Spring National Harewood Hillclimb

The Hillclimb season kicked off at Harewood last Sunday (12th April) with the Spring National Harewood Hillclimb. Over 120 cars entered for this first meeting and with mixed conditions it made for an interesting event. Variety was very much order of the day, from an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 to the humble Austin Mini Cooper S, almost everything was getting pushed hard highlighting the true character of the Harewood Hillclimb.

Sunday morning proved to be a cloudy and windy affair but practice and the 1st timed runs were completed before lunch, however during the lunch break the rain arrived ready for the start of the second timed runs. This condition change did put off a number of drivers and even when the rain had stopped the track never really dried out, therefore reducing the cars for the 3rd and final run of the day.
