HSCC 2016 racing calendar announced

Plans are already well underway at HSCC (The Historic Sports Car Club) for next season and the club has unveiled its provisional 2016 calendar which opens with a two day meeting at Castle Combe on the 16th and 17th April celebrating the clubs milestone 50th anniversary.

Founded in 1966, the club was the result of a group of 1950’s sports cars competing in the inaugural Griffiths Formula race at Castle Combe and it is very fitting that drivers will return to the Wiltshire track to celebrate 50 years of competition with this leading historic racing club.

2016 includes major historic racing festivals at both Croft for the Nostalgia weekend and Oulton Park and the legendary Gold Cup along with Silverstone for the International Trophy and Brands Hatch with the Historic Super Prix. HSCC drivers will also have the opportunity to race at Spa-Francorchamps during the incredably popular Classic Six-Hour meeting which is held over the weekend of the 16-18 September.
