BTRDA Clubman’s Rallycross Championship Round 1 Blyton Park

Round one of the 2016 Autosport International BTRDA Clubman’s Rallycross Championship got underway at Blyton Park circuit last Sunday (13th March) as drivers got back into the groove after the winter break…

The event was organised by the Mini Drivers Association (MDA) and finally got started after a 1 hour delay as we all waited for the fog to clear, however, once dispersed the Spring weather was pretty glorious a welcomed by everyone. The good conditions ensured some close, fierce competition during the heats and as soon as those starting lights changed, the action was almost non-stop – his included a couple of ‘rollers’ in separate incidents but thankfully both drivers walked away unscathed.
