2016 MCRCWA Club Round Season Opener – Barbagallo Raceway

Motor Cycle Racing Club of Western Australia (MCRCWA) held their season opener at Barbagallo Raceway at the weekend and Perth resident Simon Phillips was at the track capturing all the action…

Barbagallo, is a mere 50 clicks out of Perth city and it being the first round of the season for the WA based club, a good number of riders were in attendance. Great to see more sidecar teams lining up, and grid numbers have grown nicely in the production class too which witnessed 28 riders taking their places on the start line ensuring a competitive days racings was to be had. Sun was out, a steady 31 degrees in the shade at the start of the day but some welcome cloud, offering some element of coolness filled the sky as the day went on…
