MSA Championship Hillclimb at Harewood

Harewood Hillclimb played host on Sunday (8th May), the first of two visits in the 2016 season, to competitors in the British Championship Hillclimb for the May British Championship Hillclimb event.

Also found in the Harewood paddock last weekend, the Ferraris Owners Club and of course the regulars of the Harewood Speed Hillclimb Championship.

With the sun out and temperatures set to rise, the track would nicely warm up, making conditions just right for competitors to set new PB’s and maybe even set new class records, some of which were achieved during the event.

The meetings proceedings would be slightly different to Harewood’s norm. After practice, a timed run for all competitors with the fastest 12 in a shoot out for Championship points. After the lunch break a 2nd timed run with the fastest 13 (after two drivers set identical times). Scott Moran won both shoot outs and with that set fastest time of the day.
