Westfield Sports Car Club Sprint Blyton Park

Westfield Sports Car Club Sprint took place at Blyton Park last weekend, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July, organised by the club, drivers had to deal with a mixture of weather over the weekend, as always there was a broad selection of cars competing…

Sunday was cool and with a heavy shower mid morning, thankfully the afternoon managed to stay dry but was mainly cloudy and with a stiff breeze which enabled the track to dry out, however this breeze did keep the track temperatures well down, not what you would normally expect for mid July! Saturday’s competitors were allowed just one practice run but the new drivers entering Sunday’s competition were able to enjoy two runs with the standard three timed runs for all competitors taking place over the course of the remaining day.
