MG Trophy Co-ordinator Wanted

Pete Macwaters, co-ordinator for the MG Trophy Championship, has announced that is looking for someone to take over the reins for the 2017 season…

The role of race co-ordinator is available from the 1st January 2018 and Macwaters would like the new person to shadow him over the whole of the 2017 season starting 1st January 2017, to ensure a smooth transition enabling them to get a full picture of what will be involved in running this popular MG championship.

We understand from Pete that this role would really suit a recently retired driver with time to spare and any successful candidates will need to have skills that include computer literacy, confidence, organisational skills, diplomacy, impartiality, technical knowledge and patience!

During 2017 the candidate will need to attend all the race meetings throughout the UK, two MGCC council meetings, the Championship AGM which will be in June, the co-ordinators meeting in October and the drivers meeting in November.

The MG Trophy is in fine fettle with record grids and is a strong position financially, and Pete is determined that this is maintained and to make sure that this is achieved considerable help will be made available throughout the first year.
