The Christmas Stages is a very popular winter club-level rally with both spectators and competitors alike with the meeting slotting in nicely between Christmas and the New Year. The event comprises of 45 stage miles over eight Special Stages, using the service tracks as well as the main Croft circuit and it is run in both directions a pure 100% tarmac rally. Competitors started at 30 second intervals with faster drivers catching slower which only adds to the excitement the final stage was ran late in the afternoon and therefore in the dark adding a further challenge to the crews.

The entry list consisting of 80 cars including Historic, Group B, Modern WRC spec and clubman cars. Winners of the event were Guy Smith and co-driver Patrick Walsh in a Ford Focus WRC.
