BTCC launch at Donington park

The UK motorsport season is now officially underway as the BTCC launch day took place Donington Park this week (16th March) kickstarts the 4 wheel season…

With many well known drivers on show including Jason Plato and Matt Neal, the day included a four hour test session in the afternoon that included fans getting into the circuit to view the action free of charge and with a open paddock all were allowed access to the back of the garages for a peek. Leicestershire based Team Parker Racing with Maximum Motorsport was also testing their Ford Focus’s with Josh Cook and Stephen Jelley at the wheel. Fastest man out the blocks was Tom Ingram but as they say when the flag drops the …….. stops.

The much anticipated season starts in just two weeks at Brands Hatch on the 1st and 2nd April with the second round heading to Derbyshire at Donington Park on the weekend of 15th-16th April.
