Double win for Elliot in MSA BHRC

It was two wins from two for Nick Elliott and Dave Price and taking victory at the Rally of North Wales last weekend (Saturday 1st April)…

The mark 2 Ford Escort crew brought it home 1 minute 21 seconds ahead of rivals and 2016 Champions Jason Pritchard and Phil Clarke after 45 plus miles of forest stages. Other event category winners included Phil Harris/Richard Suter in their Mini Cooper and Stanley Orr and Stephen McAuley in a Mrk 1 Escort.

For the second time running, the crew of David Hopkins and Tony Vart collected the award for the Best Improvement on Seeding, which meant a set of axle brake pads from championship sponsor Mintex. The pairing started 31st among the historic crews but made fantastic progress to finish a class-winning 18th in the historic field.

Rally North Wales, supported by North Wales Rally Services, was organised by the Wolverhampton and South Staffs Car Club.
