BTCC Testing Thruxton…

After a difficult weekend, most of the BTCC circus headed south to the fastest circuit in the country…Thruxton.

Whilst the day was billed as testing, and with Subaru and MG not making an appearance, you be loath to think the rest of the BTCC field would be relaxing and enjoying a day at the track. All participants came out of the gate fast. Senna Proctor and his gorgeous Maxed Power Vauxhall absolutely stole the show, throwing the car into corners like it was the closing moments of a championship deciding race.

The support series were also on hand, and were able to put last weekend’s difficulties behind them, and for some learn a new and unique track. Towards the end of their sessions a number of the competitors made some moves usually reserved for when it matters.
