British GT Silverstone 500 – RJN Nissan Take pole

RJN Nissan set the pole time for the 3 hour race with Equipe Verschuur taking Pole in GT4.

Silverstone started with grey clouds but it soon warmed up on the track with qualifying.
Returning for a one off appearance, Team ABBA Racing set the quickest time in their Mercedes AMG GT3 in the hands of Adam Christodoulou with a 1:59.095.
Second was the Parker Bentley being wrestled around by Callum Macleod less than a tenth behind with a 1:59.151
Maxime Martin in the Jetstream Aston Martin Vantage posted a 1:59.212 putting them in 3rd position provisionally before the AM drivers take their turn to qualify.

Ricardo Sanchez set a blistering 2:00.126 to have a combined time in the RJN Nissan of 3:59.849 putting the #24 Nissan on pole position for the race on Sunday afternoon.
Mark Farmer was 0.7 slower than Sanchez but still slotted the #11 TF sport Aston Martin in 2nd place in his session.
3rd was Rick Parfitt Jnr with a 2:01.062, a good solid time with promise for the Bentley for the long run of the 3 hour race.

Combined times see’s the RJN Nissan on Pole position with a 3:59.849
2nd on the grid is the #11 TF sport Aston Martin of Nicki Thiim and Mark Farmer with a 4:00.563
3rd is #47 Jetstream Motorsport Aston Martin in the hands of Graham Davidson and Maxime Martin.

Team ABBA Racing #8 is looking a challenger with them sitting in 5th on the grid.
Title contenders ERC Motorsport #116 is down in 12th on the grid after a disappointing qualifying from Lee Mowle and Yelmer Buurman.

GT4

Equipe Verschuur in their Mclaren 570s took pole position with a 4:23.258
2nd in GT4 is Academy Motorsport in their #61 Aston Martin v8 Vantage with a combined time of 4:22.151
3rd Is Fox Motorsport and their #77 Mercedes AMG GT4 with a time of 4:24.410
