2014 MINI CHALLENGE CALENDAR ANNOUNCED

The 2014 MINI Challenge kicks off at Donington Park and includes 20 races held over the course of seven weekends, with double, triple and quad header race formats. The Mini Challenge is all about offering competitors maximum track time whilst trying to minimise the cost of travelling and support.

Highlights for 2014 include racing at Silverstone GP, Brands GP circuits, the two MINI Festivals held at Brands Hatch and Oulton Park and supporting the British GT Championship at the Snetterton 300 on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd June.

MINI Challenge promoter Antony Williams said: “We’re delighted with the strength and variety of the calendar for 2014. We always strive to give the drivers extra each year and we have managed to secure slots on a great range of high profile meetings. Running alongside British GT gives drivers a great carrot with which to tempt sponsors and it also helps to raise the profile of the MINI Challenge by running with one of Britain’s highest profile championships. MSVR’s MINI Festival events have also grown exponentially for next year and we’re delighted to play a starring role at both Brands Hatch and Oulton. The 2014 MINI Challenge season is shaping up well with great interest already and we look forward to another close and exciting year of competition.”
