Racing ROCKS at Rockingham

It will be a festival vibe at Rockingham this coming May (weekend of May 17/18) as the Northamptionshire circuit and the British Racing Sports Car Club (BRSCC) combine forces for a weekends club racing and live music.

The BRSCC are offering a great programme of saloon & sportscar racing over the two days and away from the track there will be entertainment from a bands and established acts which will appeal across all ages. Rick Parfitt Jnr (Ginetta Racer and son of Quo legend) and his RPJ Band will headline on the Saturday evening, supported by Gonzo, while on Sunday The Quireboys who will be joined by Vida on the main stage.

There will be plenty going on with acts providing the music on the Acoustic Stage throughout the day, and visitors can also sample the food on offer from street chefs and micro-breweries at the food & drink fair. There will be off-track attractions to keep the younger members of the family entertained, and camping and caravan pitches will be available for those wishing to experience the whole weekend.

On track there will be qualifying and races from nine different championships, including the Pickup Truck Championship which will be hammering the ‘Oval’ and the rest of the racing taking place on the International Super Sportscar Long Circuit, which will includes the Arrowpak Saloon & Sports Cars and the BRSCC Formula Jedi single-seaters.
