CSCC Classic K Series – Round 3 Brands 31st May

The CSCC (Classic Sports Car Club) Classic K series has had 4 rounds and 4 different winners if you include the October 13th meeting at Snetterton last year.

This time it was the turn of Richard Skinner in his Volvo engined Marcos. The Brands Hatch Indy circuit certainly provided a lot of action and close racing. Richard McKoen in his TR4 finished just 0.15 seconds ahead of John Sandilands in his MGB, the two having been inseparable for much of the race, even managing to drift together.

I am happy to report that all the cars when scrutineered were compliant with regulations. All pushrod engines were checked for “roller rockers” and all cars had correct rocker gear.

Next round is the meeting at Donington Park on Sunday 31st August, entry forms will be available from the end of June.
