Autocross Taster Day

Autocross is one of the most accessible forms of motorsport going. The Cramlington and District Motor Club (CDMC) are running an open day for the budding racer to get a taste of what it’s like to get behind the wheel and put the foot to the floor.

On Saturday 23rd of August the club will be allowing members of the general public to take their own car round the Autocross track at Causey Park in Northumberland – only 10 minutes North of Morpeth. But if this doesn’t take your fancy why not jump in with one of the drivers while they take you round the track for 3 hair raising laps.

There will also be opportunities for people who don’t have the racer instinct to give marshalling a taste. The marshals are key ingredient to a successful days racing and without them racing would not go ahead!

Following the open day there will be a days racing on Sunday 24th August to give you a real sense of what race day is like!
