MSA Rallycross Grand Prix – Croft Circuit

Paddock42 Contributor Ed Bookless has been waiting in anticipation for the MSA Rallycross Grand Prix all season and was back at Croft Circuit to capture the action.

With Kevin Procter on pole for the MSA Rallycross Grand Prix he was a firm favourite to retain the title but being plagued with launch control issues all weekend the crowd were waiting to see if the Ford Fiesta would get off the line with the rest of the pack.

Lights went out and the pack hurtled down the track towards Hawthorne with Procter still sat on the start line. Godfrey took the lead early on in the race to take a comfortable win with Hill coming in second and Flaherty third. Procter made a valiant attempt to get back on the podium after his poor start but pushing too hard the Fiesta span on the hairpin on the final lap.
