Mini challenge Taster Days

Thinking about coming back to the paddock or changing championships in 2015? Well Mini Challenge have confirmed that they will again be running a number of taster days now the season has finished.

The object of these events is to give drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of a MINI CHALLENGE car and get a flavour as to what they and the championship is all about. This is a great opportunity for teams and drivers to explore options for 2015.

This 2014 season has seen grids approaching 30 cars across the two classes and with a third class being introduced for 2015, the organisers we will be splitting the grid to provide space for the expected increase in entries.

Two dates have been agreed so far and are this month:

15th November – Snetterton

24th November – Brands Hatch Indy

On both dates drivers will be charged £100 for a Cooper class run, £125 for a JCW Class run and £150 for a Gen 3 car run (Gen 3 you will need to hold a Grade A ARDS Race License or ARKS Kart license)

This cost covers, car, fuel, tyres, trackday entry fee, insurance and VAT and we are told that if you go ahead and enter the MINI CHALLENGE for 2015 you will receive a refund for one Taster Day session fee.

The Mini Challenge team will be in attendance on the day to answer all your questions and provide more information on the championship. Current teams will also be on hand to provide you with details of various options and costs.

All drivers also need to be 17 or over and hold a valid UK driving license. If you are under 17 but would like to race in the MINI CHALLENGE please let them know and they may be able to arrange a Taster Session that you can attend.
