Saltire Classic Rally 2015

Whilst many circuit racers don’t get out on track to race until later this month, the 2015 rally season is well underway and Sunday the 1st March saw the annual Saltire Classic Rally in stunning North Perthshire…

Drivers and co-drivers took on the 100 mile rally, tackling 17 tests in a wide variety of different cars, including an interesting Wartburg with its equally unique sound being driven hard by the team of Tom Leeming and Clive Escreet. Overall winners for this year were the duo of Ross Butterworth and Ali Proctor in their stunning Mk1 Mexico Escort.

The Saltire Rally Club was formed to promote inexpensive competitive events for the owners of Classic or Historic Saloon and Sports Cars in Scotland.
