British ISDE Team announced… ISDE 2013 Sardinia

The ACU Trials and Enduro Committee, along with ACU British ISDE Team Manager Andrew “Dusty” Martin have announced both the Trophy and Junior riders selected to represent Great Britain in the 2013 ISDE in Sardinia this September.

GB ISDE 2013 Trophy Team: Jamie Lewis, Jason Thomas, Jordan Rose, Tom Sagar, David Knight, Daryl Bolter and travelling Reserve-Lee Edmondson

GB ISDE 2013 Junior Team: Danny McCanney, Jamie McCanney, Jack Rowland, Steve Holcombe and Reserve- Rob Johnson

ACU GB ISDE Team Manager, Dusty Martin said: “We have two very strong teams this year – a reflection on the depth of talent among all the riders who applied for the team places. The Trophy team is world class, with David Knight three-time World Champion, Jason Thomas who is producing great results in the American GNCC, Tom Sagar a former British and European Champion and EWC podium finisher. Jordan Rose and Daryl Bolter are both former top level EWC competitors and newcomer to the team Jamie Lewis who is currently performing well in the FIME Enduro Championships Each of our riders has an enviable record of talent and experience.

“Our Junior team will be looking to go one better this year after finishing second last year, the only change to the team being Jamie McCanney stepping into the Junior team and replacing Alex Rockwell. The Junior team features the strong pairing of Danny and Jamie McCanney who have both claimed World Championships this year”. Steve Holcombe although injured at the beginning of this year has come back stronger and faster and Jack Rowland who is currently leading his class in the FIME Enduro Championships.

“With the quality of the riders and the support we have for the team, from industry and individuals, we can look forward to a very competitive year at the Six Days. We’re looking forward to it!”
