Barrie Whizzo Williams at Beaulieu Saturday 23rd November

Barrie Whizzo Williams returns to Beaulieu on Saturday 23rd November, having last entertained there in January 2012, for an evening re-living stories of his long career in motorsport.

Following his last successful and popular appearance, it was obvious that there was a lot more to tell, so Beaulieu have invited him back to up date on the last couple of years and tell a few more tales. Barrie Whizzo Williams was the first person ever to win an international rally in a Mini Cooper S which he did in 1964, having started his racing career 1957. The rally win led to his first F3 race at Silverstone three years later which he won. During his two year run in F3 he was racing against names such as Derek Bell, Ronnie Peterson and Frank Williams.

The evening will begin at 7.30 pm in the Lecture Theatre of the Collections Centre, with the National Motor Museum open from 6.00 pm at no extra charge. The bar will be open for beers, tea, coffee and softies but please note there wont be any food. The evening will conclude at approximately 10.00 pm and you can get a ticket for a tenner – yes only £10.
