BMRC Kawasaki Ninja 300 Senior Series set for 2014

The British Motorcycle Racing Club have lost count of the number of riders who’ve said they’d love to have a go or even see a series for older folks on the Kawasaki Ninja 300 that the kids are using in the National Junior Cup.

Kawasaki have now agreed and finalised the arrangements for ordering a bike and the Series is GO for 2014. The remaining 2013 rounds covering Brands GP (this weekend 17th/18th), Cadwell & Brands Indy will offer tracktime to riders who choose to buy and setup these bikes during the remainder of the 2013 season.

What else will you need to know?…

The basic NJC package being ridden in the series this season costs £3999 + VAT ready to race with rearsets, race exhaust, full race fairings and slipper clutch. Optional extras are available that include race suspension from Maxton.
There have been no engine failures during the whole of last season.Maintenance on the bikes is low – oil changes are about as far as NJC riders have had to worry about – for them, the engines are sealed and we will also do that for this “Senior” class.
The Club carries an extensive spares stock at each meeting.
Initial rounds would run behind the existing NJC grid, on a split start on longer circuits. So you can enter this for £50 as an extra class to your main one.

Eligibility: Any ACU race license and aged 19 + as of the 1st January 2013 (changed as a number of National Licence holders have also expressed an interest)

Resale value of the bikes, second-hand are good as there are new customers coming into the NJC during the season and into the next.

The bikes are available and for sale right now in full race trim approx 14-day lead time from order and deposit.
