Dainese…IOM TT Official Safety Partner for 2013 & 2014.

Dainese is pleased to announce that it will continue its association with the Isle of Man TT races as the Official Safety Partner for 2013 and 2014.

The new two-year contract sees Dainese’s affiliation with the famous road races extend into its sixth year. The partnership first started in 2008, which has since seen Dainese bring VIP racing stars, including Giacomo Agostini, Kevin Schwantz, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Nicky Hayden, to the event. The deal has also helped Dainese develop its D-air® Racing system at one of the toughest road races in the world.

The six-lap superbike race on Saturday 1 June will again be referred to as the Dainese Superbike race. Trackside branding will be present along the legendary 37.5mile circuit and the travelling marshals will be kitted out in Dainese leather suits, boots and gloves.

Dainese will also continue to support Guy Martin, Conor Cummins and new signings James Hiller and Cheung Wai On for their 2013 TT assaults.

Paul Phillips, TT motorsport manager commented: “We are delighted that Dainese has renewed its contract to be the Official Safety Partner for the TT races. Over the years that Dainese has been associated with the TT they have delivered top names that we could have only dreamed of. We are very happy to see the relationship continue for another two years.”

Fabio Muner, Dainese’s marketing manager commented: “Dainese is very proud to renew its partnership with the Tourist Trophy for both 2013 and 2014. This sponsorship deal confirms our desire to use the TT as a test bench for the continuous development of protective products for the riders taking part in this difficult competition. We know all too well that the TT puts not just technical materials to the test but also the courage of the men who tackle this legendary race.“
