The Kent circuit hosted an 18 race programme for the annual HSCC Superprix which, as ever, brought out a huge crowd and a massive grid of superb cars for an excellent weekends racing.

The meeting was headlined by a double-header for the Derek Bell Trophy where Michael Lyons took his Gurney Eagle FA74 Formula 5000 car to a convincing double victory despite Andrew Smith (March 742) taking the battle to him. Martin Stretton took his March 742 to two wins in the Historic Formula Two Championship and the Honda Accords of Stewart Whyte and James Dodd took a victory apiece in the Super Touring Car Trophy.
