HSCC to celebrate Brabham racing cars at Autosport International

The Autosport International – The Racing car Show (NEC Birmingham 8-11 January) is only a few weeks away and the Historic Sports Car Club has confirmed that they will be celebrating Brabham racing cars on their stand in 2015.

3 time World Champion Sir Jack Brabham sadly passed away earlier this year and HSCC will be celebrating the great man and the cars he built with a display of 10 Brabham racing cars from the 1960s and early 1970s. These are the cars from a golden era that were raced successfully all over the world by some legendary drivers, nearly 600 built under the Brabham name and many still competing in historic racing today.

The club display at January’s show is due to include:

Joaquin Folch – F1 BT49

Rudolf Ernst – Formula Junior BT2

Lincoln Small – sports-racing BT8 and Formula 2 BT30

Tony Bianchi -sports-racing BT5

John Counsell – Formula 3 BT18

Robs Lamplough – Formula 3 BT28

Michael Grant-Peterkin – Formula Ford BT21

Michael Hibberd – Formula 2 BT38

Tony Sinclair – Formula 3 BT41.
