LANDO NORRIS JOINS CARLIN FOR FORMULA Championship

Youngest ever Karting World Champion Lando Norris is confirmed as the first driver to secure a seat with the Carlin team for next year’s MSA Formula Championship.

The 15-year-old will be one of the youngest on the grid when Britain’s newest junior single-seater championship arrives at Brands Hatch in April for the start of the 2015 season. Norris who started racing karts aged seven, enjoyed an incredible 2014 season, clinching the CIK FIA KF World Championship (making history as the youngest-ever karting World Championship winner) also contesting the Ginetta Junior Championship, taking 4 race wins and 8 podiums on his way to 3rd overall and crowned top rookie.

The championship is Britain’s official version of the FIA’s Formula 4 concept and will be the British Touring Car Championship’s single-seater support series, with the title being decided over 30 races, 3 at each of the 10 BTCC meetings.
