BTCC Donington Round 2

Donington Park hosted round 2 of the 2015 BTCC last weekend and the on track battles continued between Britains finest saloon car drivers…

First race of the day saw double BTCC Champion Jason Plato leading the charge for the first race of Round 2 at Donington Park, taking the first race win and his first in the VW CC. In race 2 it was his team mate Colin Turkington who made it two in a row for the Team BMR squad. An incident between Matt Neal and Andrew Jordan on lap 6 resulted in an appeal by MG, but Neal ultimately prevailed at the Derbyshire track, putting the Honda on the top step at the end of the 3rd race of the day.
