2015 American SpeedFest III Brands Hatch

American Speedfest took place at Brands Hatch this weekend (6th/7th June) and P42’s Simon Phillips was there to capture the action. It was a slightly cloudy start but the sun broke through and with all those V8’s in the paddock there was a distinctly the ‘Cali’ feel to the event…

There was plenty of entertainment with car club displays and various festivities off track but the on track action included some full grids, 36 cars lined up in Bernies V8’s, HRDC Allstars and the HRDC Touring Greats had grids of nearly 40 and 25 cars lined up on the NASCAR grid alone which featured drivers from all over Europe including a certain Mr. Eddie Cheever son of the ex-F1 driver. The NASCAR’s proved to be fast and furious with racing that included one spectacular crash with cars and barriers joining forces – results from the weekend as follows…
