British Hillclimb Championship Harewood

MSA British Hillclimb Championship returned to Harewood Hill last weekend (4th/5th July)

Saturday was for the Harewood Hillclimb Championship regulars, while Sunday was for the MSA British Hillclimb Championship. Entries also came from the Morgan Speed Championship and two Porsche Championships.

Saturday’s start was misty and damp but then out came the sun for the rest of the day, however Sundays weather was a mixed affair, after a cool cloudy morning, competitors enjoyed a little sun in the afternoon, but only for a while as a couple of short showers made an appearance. As time went on the skies grew darker and darker by the 2nd run in came a thunderstorm which meant the last few cars battled not only the hill but the weather too.
