2015 AMOC 80th Anniversary Celebration Brands Hatch

AMOC (Aston Martin Owners Club) celebrated its 80th birthday last weekend (29th & 30th August) at Brands Hatch, mixed weather it may have been but there was a fine selection of racers in the paddock as drivers battled it out at the Kent track on both Indy and GP circuits.

Sunday was a cloudy start but ultimately the sun came out and the feeling that summer was ‘not over yet’ lifted the spirits of all those attending the meeting, the warm weather was very welcome following Saturdays drizzle and showers. Outside of the paddock, the car parks were filled with ‘all things’ Aston with plenty to admire in-between races. Since its establishment in 1935, by a certain Mr. Morris “Mort” Goodall, naturally over lunch with his friends at The Grafton Hotel, London, the Aston Martin Owners Club continues to go from strength to strength and today delivers both modern and historic racing across the UK.
