BMCRC Offers Sidecar Course

The British Motorcycle Racing Club (BMCRC) or Bemsee as it is widely known have announced that it will run a sidecar specific BRA (basic rider assessment) at Donington Park on 8^th April 2016. Riders and passengers will get their own track time on the day in the late afternoon early evening between 5-6pm on the GP Circuit.

Historically it has not been a straight forward process for new riders and passengers wanting to compete in sidecars, to get the required licenses and the BRA forms part of the course that all riders must complete in order for them to get their first ACU license.

This planned event will enable new teams to get out on track and also include the opportunity to practice race starts off the line and Bemsee will also offer classroom CTC courses during the day. The club will be running their solo school at Brands on the 20th and 21st February along with a CTC course on the Saturday too for new riders.

This opportunity at Donington will run on the day before the BMCRC meeting on the 9th and 10th April and will be the first meeting of the clubs 2016 F1 & F2 Sidecar Championship – so for new teams this is an ideal opportunity to mingle in the paddock and chat with the experienced riders and passengers.
