Spencer Sport confirms campaign for MSA British Rally Championship

Spencer Sport, the South West Wales-based motorsport preparation company has confirmed that it will be entering 3 cars for the Mid Wales Stages which will be the 1st round of the 2016 MSA British Rally Championship.

Spencer Sport announced at the end of last year that they had been confirmed as an official UK and Ireland distributor for the new R5 specification Mitsubishi Mirage which is currently waiting for global homologation. Following the news that the British Championship will not accept cars with National Homologation in its BRC1 class, Spencer Sport will be starting the season with two Swedish-built Mitsubishis which will be driven by Spencer Sport owner Jamie Jukes and Osian Pryce. The third car will be a Fiesta R5 Evo which will be driven by Tom Cave who will be partnered by co-driver and regular WRC competitor, James Morgan.

The team will be entering the Red Kite Stages Rally on 21st February, using the event as an opportunity to refine and adjust in preparation to the start of what they hope to be a competitive season.
