HSCC News – MB Wheels support Classic F3

Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) have confirmed that MB Wheels will be supporting the clubs Classic F3 Championship this season.

MB Wheels and its owner Mike Barnby have been involved with the design and manufacture of racing wheels for both historic and modern racing cars for years and many teams / drivers who race with HSCC are customers of the business. Mike, who himself races in the HSCC F2 FIA International Series, has confirmed that he will be presenting a set of handmade wheels to the winners of both the 1600cc and 2000cc classes at the end of the 2016 season. MB Wheels will also be offering special deals to Classic F3 racers both for new wheels and any required repairs during the course of the year.

The HSCC Classic F3 Championship is for 1600cc cars that raced from 1971 to 1973 and the 2000cc cars that raced from 1974 to 1984. Many of the world best drivers cut their teeth in F3 as they made their way to F1, Champions James Hunt, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet, Alain Prost and Ayton Senna to name but a few…
