SILVERSTONE CLASSIC COMPETITORS can test for free

Silverstone have announced that all competitors racing at this years Silverstone Classic meeting (29 – 31st July), will get the opportunity to test on the GP track for free on Wednesday 27th April.

The day will also include the launch of this major UK historic race meeting to the media as the official event preview media day. The Silverstone Classic attracts over 1,000 race entries from teams and drivers from across the globe and is todate the largest historic motorsport festival in the world.

Drivers were offered the chance to test last year and this proved such a success the organisers are keen to offer this again as the build up to the 2016 event starts. Naturally the opportunity to test was massively over subscribed in 2015 and the same is expected this year so limited places are available. The 2016 meeting includes races for Can-Am sports-cars along with 1980’s touring cars and the organisers are sure that drivers registered for these races will be keen to get out on track for some vital circuit time before the main event.
