BARC at the Park…Mini’s, MX5’s & Saloons at Donington

Over the weekend (18/19th June) the BARC racers attended Donington Park for a 2 day meeting, the weather stayed dry most of the time and there were pretty good grids across the board…

Out on track, classic Mini’s, modern MINI’s, Porsche’s, Mazda MX5’s, classic and modern touring/saloon cars all went into battle at the Derbyshire circuit. Everyone was on best behaviour as Motors TV broadcast the meeting live on the Sunday afternoon, although being the last race of the meeting drivers were pushing hard and subsequently there were a few ‘spins’ and plenty of door handle to door handle stuff. Then in the last few races in came the rain to make it a little more interesting as well…results as follows.
