BSB Snetterton

The Super Pole format debuted at Snetterton last weekend in the British Superbikes and multiple BSB Champ Shakey Byrne beat current championship leader Leon Haslam buy over half a second to secure it…

However in race one it was an emotional win for Aussie Jason O’Halloran as he squeezed past team mate Dan Linfoot in a dash for the line on the last lap just managing to get the better drive out of the final corner to secure his maiden win. This made it a Honda one/two the first in a while for Honda who last enjoyed success with the HM Plant sponsored team in 2010. Shane Byrne secured 3rd place after an exceptional ride from the mid pack after a 1st lap off after tussling with Leon Haslam.

In race two the Ducati of Byrne was again at the sharp end following a lap record in race one meant a pole start again for the 4 time champion. But by lap 13 a big off by Jenny Tinmouth fired debis and oil all over the track so the red flag was waved meaning Honda’s Dan Linfoot again secured second and the Tyco BMW of Michael Laverty third. Results as follows:
