Based in Deeside in north Wales, attendees got the chance to glimpse behind the scenes of the FIA World Rally Championship. Most happened to be daughters of employees of the Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK Engine Plant employees and the hope is that they were inspired by what they saw and could see their potential future working within the sport. Whist at the site, the girls visited the Volkswagen Motorsport, Hyundai Motorsport and M-Sport World Rally Team service areas, and many got the chance to sit in some of the cars that compete in this World Championship. During the day, media and interview skills tuition was given by experienced presenter Louise Goodman, Nutrition and fitness workshop, a Toyota engineering exercise and a Pirelli tyre-changing pit-stop challenge.
