Goodwood VSCC Autumn Sprint

The Goodwood VSCC Autumn Sprint event was held at Goodwood Motor Circuit on Saturday (22nd October) and I was there to capture some of the action. The weather and conditions allowed for a great days running with the crowd out in force on the crisp Autumn day.

The Autumn Sprint, the season finale in “Speed” Season for the VSCC competitors is always a great day at the world famous Goodwood Motor Circuit on the South Downs. There was a vast array of competitors ranging from the mad Edwardians, the Fafnir Hall-Scott Special and Daimler Mercedes Rennwagen to the super nippy Austin 7 Ulters and the spectacular Morgan Super Aero 3 wheelers.

Ben Fidler in the #97 1935 ERA R4A took top honours on the day with a best time of 98.65 secs.

This is definitely one of the best events to attend on the Goodwood Motorsport calendar away from the main events and one to put in your diary for 2017!
