Ginetta Junior Scholarship won by Adam Smalley

Ginetta have announced today (26th October) that Adam Smalley has won the coveted 2017 Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Scholarship…

The 15 year old driver from Poulton-Le-Fylde impressed, even with very limited driving experience and having never driven a Ginetta, the judging team could see his ability improve lap after lap as he listened intently taking on instruction. Clearly shocked after he was announced as the winner, Adam accepted his price from last years winner and 2016 Ginetta Junior Rookie Cup winner, Daniel Harper.

54 drivers took part over the 3 days, as the judges tested them with driving, media and fitness assessments only 23 made it through to the finale and all were given 3 runs with limited instruction. After long discussions this shortlist narrowed to 3 with Adam, BSKC winner Matt Luff and Easykart Junior Champion Toby Goodman all making the cut. The three were given the chance of one final run and the opportunity to secure this ace prise.

A fully funded season in 2017 for Adam awaits.
