Formula Ford Champions sought by the HSCC

UK based historic racing club The Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) has announced that it is seeking former Formula Ford champions to attend it’s planned Brands GP meeting in July (1st/2nd) 2017 – the event will be a celebration of the racing categories 50th anniversary…

Already in the calendar for 2017, the club is marking the 50th birthday of this iconic racer starting with a display of 5 decades of the racing marque at the January Autosport Show at the NEC but the big event will be the July ‘Legends of Brands Hatch’ meeting. The circuit is the natural home for the single seater having run the first ever category race on the 2nd of July 1967. The club estimates that over 30 championships have been run since its launch in the mid sixties and as many as 500 drivers have won FF titles over this last 50 years.
