British Racing & Sports Car Club Anglesey

The BRSCC meeting at Anglesey circuit on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of August proved to be very, very wet.

The weather for qualifying on Saturday was great for racing; however, after only three races on Sunday morning, the mountains of Snowdonia began to disappear behind the clouds and the wind started to get stronger and stronger. Within 10 minutes, the rain was coming down at an incredible rate and the wind was blowing a gale. With Trac Mon being right next to the Irish Sea, conditions for driving and photographing were nearly impossible. The drivers and teams did very well to keep the cars on the track. Also, full credit to the race organisers for doing an outstanding job keeping the meeting running smoothly despite the adverse conditions.
