A quartet of races for the Avon Tyres Northern Formula Ford 1600 Championship topped the bill, supported by the Teekay Couplings Golf GTi Championship, the TVR Challenge, alongside guest appearances from the Welsh Sports and Saloon Championship and the Global GT Lights series from Ireland. Changeable weather meant a challenging day for both competitors and spectators, but the mixed weather delivered some great racing throughout the day.
