MSVR Car Club Championships Brands Hatch GP

Brands Hatch was bathed in glorious sunshine for a weekend of GT, Prototype and Single Seater racing on the Grandprix loop, all brought to you by Motorsport Vision Racing (MSVR)…

In the GT Cup Championship, the debuting Optimum Motorsport Audi R8 LMS of Ollie Wilkinson, who was dominant throughout the weekend, took away from the meeting three overall race wins and GTO class wins, proving himself to be talented endurance racer.

A last minute entry for the weekends GT Cup Championship was Topcats Racing’s Warren Gilbert, taking two GTB victories on Saturday in the aging but still proving to be competitive Marcos mantis.

There were also wins for the Century Motorsport Ginetta G55 GT4 driven by David Holloway in GTH, Tom Hibbert took a well deserved GTA victory after missing out in race one because of a driveshaft failure in his Ginnetta G55 GT4 and John Sawbridge in the Ferrari 488 Challenge taking a win in GTC.

Out on track over the weekend we had F3 cup putting on a show of good competitive F3 racing, LMP3 Cup and the Lotus Cup and Elise Trophy along with the Radical Challenge and the Toyo tires Production BMW and Racing Saloons.

Just 4 Cars In Attendance.

Good grids greeted the spectators in all categories except for the LMP3 Cup Championship with only four car taking to the circuit over the two days. Such a shame, these cars look and sound great.
