French Trophy Race series – TRACK ATTACK RACE CLUB

Track Attack Race Club have announced its 2014 provisional dates for its dedicated French Trophy Race series for Citroen Peugeot and Renault cars which it launched this season. The club has confirmed that it will run a full 14 race schedule and that it will be launching a similar series for German marques.

This is great news made more interesting by the fact the club has been advised by the MSA that they can no longer use the word ‘French’ or ‘German’ in the titles of these championships so they have launched a competition to find replacement names for the 2014 series. Get your thinking caps on people of the paddock – there is a bottle of bubbly and two free tickets to the Autosport Racing Car Show in January available to anyone coming up with a name that’s adopted. The French Trophy Race series is for French cars manufactured by Citroen, Peugeot and Renault only and the aim is to provide cost effective motor sport for enthusiasts of French marques and models.

The class structure:

Class A – 1601-2000cc multi valve
Class B – 1601-2000cc dual valve
Class C – up to 1600cc multi valve
Class D – up to 1600cc dual valve
Class E – invitation class for cars not covered by the above classes
