Ecurie GTS and Equipe GTS combine

Aston Club Racing, part of the AMOC with their Equipe GTS series and Ecurie GTS, supported by the MG Car Club, have been running nearly identical championships over the last couple of years and both clubs have seen good grids and great racing, but for 2015 they officially join forces…

The new series will be called Equipe GTS and will now be run independently by a team of drivers headed up by Rob Cull and John Pearson with help from David Russell Wilks, Brian Arculus, Pete Foster and Graham Bates.

The championship features pre-66 FIA type cars (papers not required) and will include production sports and GT cars with 5 classes up to 2700cc for cars all complying with Appendix K regulations.

The organisers believe that this union will provide drivers with a new calendar, fantastic circuits and the best of the events from the two clubs and with two provisional meetings in Europe at Spa (Spa 6Hr) and Zandvoort it looks like it will be a great season.
